Cotex Industries Ltd, is one of the largest converters of metal and plastic raw materials in Tanzania. Initially operating as the Plastic & Metals division of Chemi & Cotex Industries, our company was formalized as a separate unit in 2016.
Our wide range of products includes welded mesh, wire nails, expanded metal, chain-link fence, barbed wire, plastic water storage tanks (POLY TANKS), crates, HDPE pipes, plastic chairs and many more. These products find widespread use across industries ranging from construction, manufacturing concerns, agriculture, government institutions and are also traded extensively.
Sales and distribution of our products is done through a wide network of branches all over Tanzania and are even exported to neighboring countries.
The company has established manufacturing facilities in Dar-es-Salaam as well as Arusha, Iringa, Mwanza and Kigoma which together can process about 1,000 MT of metal products and 350 MT of Plastic products every month.
We manufacture a wide range of plastic and metal products used by the construction industry including Water Storage Tanks (POLYTANK), HDPE Pipes (POLYPIPE), Common nails, Weld Meshes, Fencing Products, Expanded Metals and more
We manufacture household plastic products such as Pails, Chairs, Tubs, crates, watering cans and septic tanks, .
Dar es salaam, Arusha, Iringa, Mwanza, Kigoma, Morogoro and Mbeya.
Monday-Friday: 8am - 5pm, Saturday: 8am - 1pm
